The Lunar New Year is celebrated in quite a big way here in Sydney and that's great for me given that CNY is one of my biggest festivals in the Chinese calendar.

Looks like Sydney didn't skim on the CNY deco and events!
There are, after all, heaps of Asians in Sydney - about 700,000 or so, 17% of the population.
gina: It gets better every year!
aimlesswanderer: yeah..
happy chap goh mei... i kinda miss darling harbour =p
Looks like it's every grander than hear. Here, we have LOTS of fireworks and firecrackers (Save the environment!)...open houses - all the visiting...and a lot of feasting and drinking. Dunno if there were any parades...
fufu: Happy Chap Goh Mei to You too Fufu!:-)
Suituapui: Yes, different places celebrate CNY differently:)
