Happy 2007!!!!!:)....新年快樂 2007!!!!!:)... いよいよ年を!!!!!:)...

Happy 2007 Everyone:)
大家 新年快樂:)
皆様、 いよいよ年を
May the New Year prove to be a fruitful, meaningful and worthwhile one!!!

PS : An update on life....i just moved into my new room which means a new room for a new year, all fresh to start a new beginning for 2007..this room has a window with views to the city and also i have my own personal TV and fridge for the 1st time......
I will upload pics of my room later when i find out how to solve my laptop problem of not being able to transfer pics from my digicam to my laptop....aarrgghhhh....

Also, my family and I all celebrated Christmas at a different location this yr...my brother is currently in the UK studying...and he went to London with his friends for Christmas so he celebrated it in London....my mum went on a China-Hong Kong trip with her friends touring Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Macau, Zhuhai and Hong Kong....and they spent Christmas Eve in Hong Kong....she liked it and changed her perception of mainland China, which she previously thought to be backwards and dirty...she says the cities in China are now much much much more developed than KL and Penang in Malaysia and commented significantly that Chinese cities were extremely clean and orderly, unlike the previous impression that Chinese cities were dirty and filled with litter....my dad was in China for Christmas, in North China,...and i was in Sydney....so me n bro in the West and my parents in the East....haha...

I went to the New Years Celebrations in Sydney tonite...watched the splendid fireworks at Darling Harbour....went to the Sydney Opera House area too wanting to catch the fireworks at midnite there but it was so crowded (believe me it was so crowded that you were pushed along, u didn't need to move urself at all) that plans were cancelled and returned home early...there was so many ppl at the Sydney Opera House area as well as the main streets of Sydney, roads were blocked off and it was surreal seeing crowds of ppl walking down the main roads...it reminded me distinctly of Ginza,Tokyo on a weekend and crowds of ppl walking down the main roads with the roads being off-limits to vehicles....took plenty of photos which i shall post up as soon as i can fix my transfer of data prob...

Anyways, looking to a good and refreshing year ahead....Hope its a good one for everybody too:)
